The importance of
adhering to timeframes and correct documentation being completed and recorded
when having appraisal interviews is very significant. Appraisal interviews need
to be well organized in order to effectively focus on reviewing and improving
performance. One cannot do such effectively if a time has not been set and
agreed upon by both parties. It is also very important to ensure that correct
documentation has been completed and recorded because if the employee is being
judged based on the wrong history, then the whole appraisal interview is a
flop.
